A really stellar new coffee from our recent trip to Oaxaca!  We visited this village in the Sierra Mixe region of northern Oaxaca this past February and were blown away by the hospitality and the overall quality that was coming out of this group of farmers. The farmer group was bolstered by a few younger producers who had travelled and learned some roasting and cupping protocols in the city and recognizing the quality that their community was capable of they implemented SCAA cupping protocols in their small village. They even supplied us with scoring sheets and a table of coffee to cup that we were now tasked with grading! Definitely not the normal experience by a long shot.. Primarily growing typica, bourbon and gesha varietals this coffee has an almost Ethiopian florality to it with clean crisp apple and chocolate notes.

Limited in quantity we were lucky to snag a few bags of this special coffee from northern Oaxaca! Disfruta!
